Kenvue wins big at the MVP awards 2023

After an impressive 26 nominations, Kenvue has been named a four-time winner across multiple categories at the 2023 Most Valuable Product (MVP) Awards! And it’s all thanks to the expert panel of judges and pharmacists who voted for our products.

Each year, the MVP Awards set out to recognise and reward the most impactful products in the pharmaceutical industry. It’s an opportunity for pharmacists to have their say on which products are most effective and most loved by their patients and customers.

Products are judged on a series of criteria – from effectiveness to packaging and profitability. Pharmacy votes are then combined 50/50 with recommendations from an expert panel to confirm the category winners.

From brands to manufacturers, the list of winners (and nominees) is remarkable! Kenvue was hugely successful this year with 16 accolades across smoking cessation, allergies, child health and more. Let’s take a look at our big wins and commendations.

Overall MVP Winner 2023:

Calpol® SixPlus Sugar Free Suspension

Our biggest win of 2023? Taking home the Most Valuable Product of the Year Award for Calpol® SixPlus Sugar-Free Suspension.

Out of the 25 MVP category winners, Calpol® SixPlus Suspension was voted most valuable by visitors at the Pharmacy Show 2023 – where the final poll takes place. So, as well as winning MVP of the Child Health category, Calpol® SixPlus Suspension was ultimately selected as the MVP of the Year 2023.

We were thrilled to be given the top spot with one of our most popular products. Calpol® SixPlus is not a new release, but an established product across our Child Health range. It’s used to relieve mild/moderate pain and / or bring down fever (high temperature) in many conditions including cold and flu, earaches, headaches, and sore throats.

This award win shows just how reliable this product is – and how much value it continues to deliver for pharmacy staff.

Allergy & Hayfever – Topical Winner:
Benacort® Nasal Spray

Benacort® Nasal Spray took the top spot when it comes to topical treatments for seasonal rhinitis. The spray is an effective option for adult patients, as it helps to reduce nasal inflammation caused by irritating pollen particles.

Smoking Cessation Winner:
Nicorette® QuickMist 1mg/spray Mouthspray

The innovative Nicorette® QuickMist Mouthspray gave us the win in the smoking cessation category. The spray provides rapid craving relief and is a perfect fit for patients who are starting their quit journey.

Child Health Winner:
Calpol® SixPlus Sugar-Free Suspension

Calpol® SixPlus Suspension claimed first place in the Child Health category – leading to its overall MVP win. The paracetamol-based medicine was recognised for its ability to relieve mild to moderate pain and fever in cold and flu in kids.
