Symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
The medicine contains cetirizine dihydrochloride which is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms associated with the above conditions, such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes and skin rashes.
Adults and children aged 2 years and above
BENADRYL® Allergy Children's 1mg/ml Oral Solution works to relieve the symptoms of hay fever and other allergic conditions such as pet or dust allergies.
These symptoms include:
Itchy, runny nose, sneezing
and itchy watery eyes.
It can also be used to treat the symptoms of
urticaria, also known as hives, where the skin looks blotchy, with white raised
wheals (bumps) surrounded by redness.
Children 2-6 years old: Give one 2.5ml spoonful in the morning and one 2.5ml spoonful in the evening.
Children 6-12 years old: Give one 5ml spoonful in the morning and one 5ml spoonful in the evening.
Adults and children aged 12 years old and above: Give two 5ml spoonfuls once a day.
This medicine is not recommended for children under 2 years old
